Farm Stand and Skill Share (free!)

Swing by the farm to shop our farm stand and learn a new gardening or farming skill

  • 2 hours

Every Friday from 4-6 pm we open the farm to visitors to purchase farm fresh, seasonal products (maple syrup, vegetables, wild mushrooms, herbal tinctures, live plants). We encourage everyone to bring their own reusable bags! No registration required. Heather will also offer a "skill share" for anyone interested in learning about regenerative farming practices. These will last about 15 minutes and will start at 4:30 pm, 5 pm, and 5:30 pm. No previous experience required though we encourage you to bring an open and curious mind :) Skill shares may include building and growing with hugelkultur raised beds, starting seeds using soil blocks, using a scythe, pruning apple trees, identifying and harvesting herbs, beekeeping basics, free-ranging livestock (chickens and goats, etc.). Heather is constantly learning as a newer farmer and enjoys sharing her passion for regenerative farming practices.
