Description
Interested in learning about regenerative farming practices? Join us for a one hour tour of our small-scale, off-grid, family farm that was designed using permaculture principles. This immersive farm tour offers many opportunities to see and experience first-hand our innovative yet inexpensive practices that prioritize improving soil health to help us grow and raise nutrient-dense food. As we move about the farm, you will meet our free-range chicken flock and our friendly Nigerian dwarf goats while they help us manage vegetation (and provide free fertilization). Throughout the tour you will have many opportunities to admire our honey bees and native pollinators up close as they forage for nectar. During the farm tour, you will also get an opportunity to see our hugelkulture raised bed gardens, herb gardens, mushroom cultivation areas, chicken coop and greenhouse, heritage apple orchard, barn and apiary area with a black walnut guild, and learn about our various in-progress projects (such as our forest garden - new in 2024!). No previous experience required. Simply bring your curiosity and dress appropriately for this outdoor tour that involves livestock.

Cancellation Policy
To receive a full refund for a TOUR, please contact us at least one week in advance. If you need to reschedule a tour, we will try to accommodate requests up to 48 hours in advance. If you are registered for a RETREAT, you may cancel up to 14 days of the session and receive a full refund. If you cancel within 14 days of that session (or are a 'no-show') no refund will be issued.
